COLTS & Kronos

  • Unit Responsibilities:
    • Employees must enter and approve their time by the UBSC deadline

  • Supervisor Responsibilities:
    • Ensure employee meal breaks have been taken according to HR policy  
    • Verify accuracy of employee's time worked and approve time by the UBSC deadline

  • UBSC Responsibilities:
    • Send reminders to ensure that employees enter their time in COLTS or Kronos
    • Ensure time is entered correctly for special pay issues (e.g., holidays, disability, family medical leave, etc.)
    • Review that meal breaks have been taken

       Note:  The UBSC's deadline is one day earlier than that posted by the central Payroll Office to allow time for review and corrections, if necessary.
