Student Employment Year End Processing There will be no mass termination of Student Hourly Jobs at the end of this academic year.
An electronic process will be run that automatically identifies active jobs with federal work-study distributions (object code 4742 or 4743), and changes the distribution to 100% department funds. Non-work-study jobs (object code 4712) will not be touched.
This will keep the jobs active until they are terminated manually or put on a leave of absence status by the department.
This change will be effective May 10, 2007, which is the start of the summer employment period.
Dates to Note:
-
May 9, 2007, the academic year ends, this includes work-study appointments
-
