CIT Unified Billing Services (CUBS)

Individual Responsibilities:

Supervisor Responsibilities: 

  • Emphasize that direct payment is required by calling card, debit card, credit card, or operator assistance, of charges from personal long-distance telephone calls made on university lines
  • Implement review procedures to identify patterns of abuse in which the university is paying for an individual’s personal use of a university telephone

UBSC Responsibilities:

  • Analyze monthly CIT online statements to determine consistency and appropriateness
  • Discrepancies will be corrected or followed up on with the unit
  • Act as a liaison between the unit and CIT for any account and billing changes

Telecommunications Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals within the unit with voice and data related requests and problems (i.e., telephone equipment, phone jacks, data ports, etc.)

Telecommunications Contact Responsibilities:

  • Unit designates whom UBSC contacts with any questions about telecommunications charges
Journals Vouchers/Transfers/Accruals
Cash Receipt and Deposit
Capital Equipment/Asset Management
Setting Up and Manage Accounts
Monthly Transaction Statement Review
