CIT Unified Billing Services (CUBS)
Individual Responsibilities:
Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Emphasize that direct payment is required by calling card, debit card, credit card, or operator assistance, of charges from personal long-distance telephone calls made on university lines
- Implement review procedures to identify patterns of abuse in which the university is paying for an individual’s personal use of a university telephone
UBSC Responsibilities:
- Analyze monthly CIT online statements to determine consistency and appropriateness
- Discrepancies will be corrected or followed up on with the unit
- Act as a liaison between the unit and CIT for any account and billing changes
Telecommunications Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals within the unit with voice and data related requests and problems (i.e., telephone equipment, phone jacks, data ports, etc.)
Telecommunications Contact Responsibilities:
- Unit designates whom UBSC contacts with any questions about telecommunications charges
